Application examples of percision levelling wedge mounts
3000 ton Van Dorn IMM Press installs easily and is cushioned against operating shocks
MSI Mold Builders of Cedar Rapids installed a large 3000 ton Van Dorn plastic injection modling machine to complement their long term business of designing, building and repairing molds for a wide range of industrial customers and applications.
AirLoc bolt-on wedgemounts with high damping pads smooth out an Amada Turret press
Spacesaver Corp is a market leader in providing high density storage systems that optimize customers time, space, and security. They recently installed an Amada Coma 567 Turret Press to fabricate metal sheets used in one of their product lines, and realized that their old isolation leveling pads were not doing the job. When the turret positioned heavy gage sheets, they would create vibration in the frame of the machine, and the entire turret would rock back and forth.
Nickel plated wedge mount is clean as a whistle for Clean Room Applications
Clean room are defined as specially constructed, environmentally controlled enclosed spaces with repect to airborne particulates, temperature, humidity, air pressure, airflow, etc. Federal Standard 209E defines a clean room as a room in which the concentration of airborne particles is controlled to specific limits. AirLoc developped a nickel plated wedge mount containing no lubricating greases, painted surface, or loose contaminants.
AirLoc machine mounts with BiLoc® antivibration Pads provide leveling and isolation for HORIBA test stand
HORIBA Automotive Test Systems is a leading supplier in the field of engine, driveline, brake, wind tunnel and emissions test systems. When GM needed 12 test stands for the purpose of testing the new Volt electric motor, HORIBA in Troy, Michigan, turned to AirLoc to provide isolated leveling mounts.
AirLoc wedge mounts with B2 isolation pads isolates Okuma Lathes on third floor
A large manufacturer in Wisconsin had various types of metal working equipment located on the third floor of a productions building. An Okuma Crown Model L lathe with bar feeder, which had competitor's elastomer leveling mounts installed, was transmitting high levels of vibration into the floor affecting the performance of nearby precision machining centers.
AirLoc wedge mounts with damping pads put the skids on John Deere genset vibration
Whitestone Power and Communication, a small rural energy provider, recently installed new John Deere prime movers on AirLoc 204.3 VRC Wedgmounts® in conjunction with AirLoc 727 damping pads. Hasz Consulting Co., experts with vibration analysis and testing, worked with Whitestone on the installation.
AirLoc Bolt-on Wedgmounts® helps Oak Press Solutions control high impact press!
Oak Press Solutions, headquartered in Sturgis, Michigan, has manufactured reliable, precision, stamping presses since 1965 for worldwide distribution. Recently, Kent Lancaster, Oak technical sales and marketing manager had a leveling mount application for a 200 ton, high speed perforating line press. The application generated high impact snap through forces at 240 strokes / min. and required isolation as well as precision leveling.
AirLoc wedgemount levelers and damping pads provide the precision positioning and vibration isolation required for delicate Kayex Crystal Growing Equipment
Kayex develops and manufactures crystal growing equipment for the semiconductor and photovoltaic materials industry. These high-temperature, vacuum furnaces are used to grow single crystal silicone ingots. The ingots are then sliced into wafers that are used as the substrate for either computer chips or high efficiency solar cells. This is a process which obviously requires precision and reduced vibration levels to insure high yields from the equipment.
AirLoc Bolt-on Wedgmounts® used to support a custom built Eagle Hydraulic Press
Eagle Press & Equipment Co. Ltd located in Ontario designs and manufactures a complete line of state-of-the-art metal, plastic and composite forming equipment. Recently, Eagle Press worked on a project involving one of the world’s largest hot- plate welders. The large bed dimensions of this press (192”x110”) required special guiding to insure the accuracy of the finished product. The manufacturing process called for three different press stroke lengths, including the final stroke which included thermal fusing of large plastic mats.
AirLoc machine mounts used to support Americolor Printing Press Tower
AirLoc 11-VRC Wedgemount compact precision levelers with 903 pads were selected by Hall Contracting Services, Inc. for a new installation at the Bloomington Herald Times in Ohio. Four Wedgmounts support a 50 ton Americolor printing tower manufactured by Dauphin Graphic Machines, Inc. of Elizabethville, PA.
AirLoc wedge mounts provide precise leveling and isolation for presses and metal-forming equipment
AirLoc's wide range of wedge Precision Leveling Mounts and Engineered Elastomer Pads continue to solve the toughest applications in the metal-forming industry. The standard line of Wedgemounts support presses ranging in size from small Gap Frame Presses to Blanking / Transfer Presses weighing 2,000,000 pounds.
